On the Calendar this Week:
- World Communion Sunday: Sunday, October 1st. Pastor Ross will be filling the pulpit as Pastor Paul will be out.
- Couples Bible Study began Sunday, September 24th and will run until Sunday, November 12th. Study led by Ross & Janna Kershaw and will meet in the parlor from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. We will be utilizing the book A Couple’s Guide to a Growing Marriage by Gary Chapman. It’s not too late to sign up!
- Membership & Outreach Meeting: 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 2nd in the parlor.
- The Intercessory Prayer Group meets each Monday (except holidays) at 9:00 a.m. You are welcome to join them. They will also accept your prayer requests, you can call the office (864-2524) or let Randy Wahler, Kay Wiecki, Joan Stetler or Jo Stickney know.
- Tuesday Bible Study: Will meet on Tuesday, October 3rd and will be studying the Old Testament book of Judges. Read the introduction and chapter 1 to prepare for the study. All are welcome to join us.
- Worship Committee Meeting: 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3rd in the parlor.
- Ladies Lunch: Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Gottsche 148 Bistro.
- Big Horn Basin Bell Gathering in Powell, Wyoming at Powell United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 28th. There will be a community concert at 3:00 p.m. that is free and open to the public.
- Church Cleaning: There is a sign-up sheet for teams of people to clean the church each week. Thank you for your willingness to help!
- Doorstep Ministries. If you are interested in reaching out to our members by making home visits, please sign up on the sheet in the parlor. You can also reply to this email and Tammy will add you to the list or you can call the office 864-2524 to be added.
- Additional Drivers Needed: If you are willing to help pick people up for church on a Sunday, please call the office and get on the list. We have a couple of people at the Pioneer Home and there may be others in the community that would like to come to church if they have someone who will pick them up.
- Coffee (or beverage of choice) with the Pastor You choose the date, time and place and Pastor Paul will be there. This is a great opportunity to get to know the pastor while letting him get to know you. You are welcome to call the office 864-2524 to schedule your time.
- Church Website: I am working on making our website more interesting and dynamic! Please take a look at it https://www.cmtyfedchurch.org and let me know what you would like to see. It has been suggested that we need more pictures of people being active in the church. If you have any photos you would like to share, please send them to communityfederated@gmail.com

Veterans Day 2020
On November 10th we honored the veterans in our congregation and our families.Nancy Darland prepared an altar display of pictures of the veterans connected with our church. The pictures were on display on the two Sundays surrounding Veteran’s Day. Thank you so much for helping us honor these individuals who have served our country and protected our freedom, Nancy Darland.
